This design has a transparent background. One version has white text for a dark t-shirt. Another has only the rocker with the pets - no text - so anyone can easily add the name of their own rescue, their rescue transport, their local shelter, their favorite rescue hero ... whatever they want to say about rescue pets.
Each Monday after finishing a post on a successful Sunday rescue transport, Miss Khyra's mom ends with, "RESCUES ROCK!!!!" One day we had the urge to "prove" they do. For real. In a rocking chair.
We wanted Jan to use actual rescue pets from the local shelter. She found the perfect cat photo right away. That handsome tabby is not our Percy. The cat was at the local Petsense but he was up for adoption from the shelter.
There was a cute white dog posing nicely that Jan sat in the chair with him. But when she uploaded the design to zazzle, the dog disappeared into the background of a t-shirt, card or whatever. She must have tried substituting a dozen different dogs, but wasn't happy with any of the results.
Finally, although she hated to "cheat" on her own plan, she decided she would have to use one of us woofies. Then it dawned on her, Merci was adopted from the shelter. (Hey, Jan, we could have told you that.) And so, Merci with her flying flap ears joined the tabby as a poster dog for rescue.
We love this design because rescues really do rock. They make wonderful companions and offer just as much love and loyalty as any purebred.
Note: the graphics posted here are low quality. The actual designs are high quality.
We have made several variations of this.
Intro
We decided to open this blog to showcase our designs. The photos posted here will be low quality (and with a watermark) but the actual designs are much larger and high quality. Many designs are actually transparent but they can only be posted here with a white background.
We thought it would be an interesting experiment to post the designs and allow anyone to comment (they're moderated).
